The Power of Myth
Eilisain Jewelry represents my fascination and appreciation for myth stories and
the power and understanding we receive from applying them to our own lives.
Every piece of Eilisain jewelry is handcrafted using found animal parts, rough coral and gemstones, animal teeth, and of course the alchemial properties of metal. My hope is to provide you with jewelry that carries the vitality of myth and belief that objects (adornment) can transform your perspective and appearance.
The story of Eilisain really begins when I found the name, Eilisain (I-li-sean) at a Celtic fair, I went to a booth where you can have your name translated into Gaelic. Of course I was curious and had my name, Lisette translated and thus is Eilisain meaning "Consecrated to God". I have always found cultural mythologies fascinating; creation stories and how varied and yet similar they are. Eilisain seemed so appropriate for my future jewelry business.

Sage and lavender, as well as rosemary are my absolute favorite herbs. Combined they create an absolutely calming and cleansing smudge.
Smudging is an ancient and timeless ritual act of removing unseen impurities as well as marking a point in time to consecrate and begin ritual. This smudge stick was created using sage and Mexican lavender from my father’s garden. The smudge stick is roughly 7 inches long. I’ve wrapped the smudge stick in cotton thread along with a gorgeous large honey calcite mineral or crystal or simply by itself.
You may select from four variations, bundles with gemstones or crystals or simply a sage and lavender or rosemary bundle. Sage and lavender have been sourced locally from my father’s garden. Your order will arrive wrapped in tissue paper and a specialty box.
When you burn these soothing herbs, the aroma is earthy, calming and serene. You will feel the change in time where it is sacred and special.
*A bundle can last for a very long time, if you burn daily perhaps a month. These make fantastic gifts.
